Job Description

Full Stop Australia is looking for a Marketing and Communication Lead.

About Us:
Full Stop Australia is a not-for-profit organisation, operating nationally, but based in Sydney. Our mission is to put a full stop to sexual, domestic, and family violence and to support those who have been impacted by violence and abuse. We operate the NSW Sexual Violence Helpline and a range of specialist Redress and domestic violence counselling services. Full Stop Australia also offers best-practice training and professional services to support safe and respectful workplaces, and advocates for changes to laws, policies, and practices to better prevent and respond to sexual, domestic, and family violence. 

About the Role:
This role is a fixed term, 12-month full time position. 
The Marketing and Communication Lead will lead the delivery of a high impact strategic marketing and communications program promoting Full Stop’s strategic goals, brand and service awareness and growing the support base for Full Stop Australia. 
You will collaborate with team members to deliver key marketing and communication outcomes to support our critical work in response, advocacy and education as a leading sexual, domestic and family violence service in Australia.
 

Desired Skills and Experience

About You:
You will be a creative, values driven, marketing and communication specialist who will support the development and implementation of Full Stop’s marketing and communication strategy. Supporting brand awareness through media and advertising campaigns, event marketing, digital marketing, social media and other strategic channels. 
You will be committed to and have an understanding of intersectional feminist perspective on gender based violence, and an understanding of particular issues faced by priority populations.

Your qualifications and experience will include: 
•    A tertiary qualification or three years of relevant experience in marketing and communication.
•    Demonstrated experience in media relations and briefing Executive to support media engagement.
•    Strong knowledge of relationship management, stakeholder engagement and event coordination.
•    A passion for developing engaging social media content.
•    Demonstrated proficiency in graphic design tools (Canva, Indesign or Illustrator).

Salary: This position has been classified as Level 5 under the Social, Community, Home, and Disability Services (SCHADS) Award. 

Contract: This is a fixed term, 12 month full time position.

Full Stop Australia offers a hybrid model of working, with the option to work part of your hours from home (where applicable).
